Mr. Woodrow "Beck" Carr, age 78 of Demopolis, Alabama passed June 15, 2009 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home, Demopolis, Alabama. Funeral Services were held Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the Eastern Star Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Terry Gosa, Pastor. Rev. Carlton Hogue officiated. Interment followed in Mt. Cannan Cemetery, Gallion, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. He was born to the parentage of the late Sara Carr and Grant Robinson in Marengo County, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Edna Mae and Mary Edna, and brothers, John, Fate, Daniel, Silas and Esaliah Carr. Leaves to cherish his memories his nieces and nephews, one very devoted niece, Sarah C. Smith of Demopolis, AL, Lucille Daniel of Cleveland, OH, John Pack, Louise Bell of West Virginia, Andrew, Donald, Luke and Jessie Pack, all of New Jersey, Fate Carr, Jr. & Sarah Carr of Chicago, IL, Marjorie Fisher and Dorothy Thurman of Gallion, AL, John Oden of Birmingham, AL; Mary & Maratha Carr of Birmingham, AL, Edward Williams of Huntsville, AL, Teresa, Cordell and Latrisha Carr of Lansing, MI; two sisters in law, Dorothy Carr of Lansing, MI and Rachel Carr of Demopolis, Al; devoted friend, Willie M.
