Mrs. Willie Lee James Perkins, age 58 of 504 Wolf Circle, Demopolis, Alabama entered into eternal rest January 1, 2011 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral Services were held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, County Road 2, Gallion, Alabama. Pastor Sid Rowser, Sr. officiated. Rev. Mitchell R. Congress, Master Of Order. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Mrs. Willie Lee James-Perkins, affectionately known as "Peasy" was born June 6, 1952 to the parentage of the late Moses and Aslean James. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Jerusalem Baptist Church in Gallion, Alabama. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Tommy Perkins, Sr. To this union two children were born. She was preceded in death by her paretns; Doc "Moses" James, Sr. and Aslean "Clotee"James, grandson, Adarius Perkins, two siblings, Lena Hughes and Moses "Jack"James, Jr., three aunts; Mary Lizzie Williams, Bessie Seaborn, and Annette Cobb; two uncles, John Henry Williams and Clinton williams. She leaves to cherish her precious memories a husband, Tommy Perkins, Sr., of Demopolis, AL; two children, Joycle (Tommy) Wilson, Jr. and Tommy Perkins, Jr. of Demopolis, AL; two loving and devoted sisters, Betty (Ray) Williams of Demopolis, AL. and Doris James of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers, Alphonso & Lorenzo James of Demopolis, AL; six grandchildren; two great grandsons; four brothers in law; two sisters in law; 19 nephews, 16 nieces; One special niece, LaTasha Essex of Demopolis, Alabama; a host host of other relatives and devoted friends.
