Mr. Willie J. Guy, age 53 of 1116 3rd Street, Greensboro, Alabama passed August 30, 2007 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral Services were held Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 12:00 Noon at Larkin & Scott Funeral Home Chapel, Demopolis, Alabama. Bishop Jasmine Guy, Eulogist. Archbishop Cheryl Neal Reed, officiant. Cremation followed the funeral services. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. He was born July 14, 1954 in Newbern, Alabama to Luevenia Guy and Samuel Hogan. United with First Baptist Church of Newbern, AL. Attended Hale County Public Schools later relocating to Detroit, Michigan and worked briefly for Ford Motor Company. He leaves to cherish his memories one son, James Guy of Arnold, PA; two grandchildren; two sisters, Sallie Guy Johnson of Monroeville, PA and Bishop Jasmine Guy of Cleveland, OH; one nephew, two great nephews, two aunts-in-law, and a host of cousins and friends.
