Mr. William Henry Inge, Sr., age 76 of Demopolis, Alabama passed December 3, 2007 at University of Alabama Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama. Funeral Services were held Sunday, December 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Moscow Primitive Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Timothy Page, Pastor. Rev. Mitchell R. Congress officiated. Interment with military honors l followed at Moscow Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. He was born on January 6, 1931 to the late Mary Hannah Inge in Boligee, Alabama. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and united with the Moscow Baptist Church where he served as a secretary and usher for several years. He served in the Korean War. William Henry Inge, Sr. was united in Holy Matrimony to Alice Vaughn. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Alice Inge of Demopolis, AL; seven children, Patricia Inge of Detroit, MI, Georgia Inge of Portland, OR, Peggy Inge and Gwendolyn Inge both of Demopolis, AL; Edward & Arthur Mauldin of Cleveland, OH; two brothers, Samuel (Barbara) Inge of Augusta, GA and Jesse Inge of New York, NY; two brothers, Samuel (Barbara) Inge of Augusta, GA and Jesse Inge of New York, NY; three sisters, Annette Taylor and Vernette Lynch of Detroit, MI. and Velma Fluker of Marietta, GA; one sister in law, Mary A. Dunnings of Toledo, OH; one brother in law, Van (Margaret) Hurns of Demopolis, AL; 16 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
