Mr. Walter  Edwin Jowers of Demopolis, Alabama entered into eternal rest December 5,2021 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Facility Demopolis, Alabama.

Walter Edwin Jowers of Demopolis, Alabama  was a comedian, poet, and jack of all trades. He never met a stranger and could talk about a myriad of subjects. He is preceded in death by his parents Tounie Rebecca and Columbus Jowers, his wife Norma Jean (Malone), his son Joseph Todd and two daughters, Janice Elizabeth (Beth)West and Anjanette (Angel) Mills, his SIL David Garner and two brothers. He is survived by his daughter Stephanie Christine (Christy) Garner, his brothers Johnny Jowers and Lonnie Jowers, his grandchildren Lydia Bedsole Williams (Mark), Jessica Campbell (Allen), Drew Bedsole, Marc Mills(Cassie), Harvey West Jr., Amanda Raybon (Kyle), Ashley Parnell (Justin), great grandchildren, Emma Grace, Nathan, Abbie, Syelar, Adaline, Jack, Ayden, and Emma, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial was held  Monday December 13, 2021 at 1p.m. at Spillway Falls Pavillion (lower lock & dam). In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Demopolis River City Blue Band.
