Mrs. Velma Byrd Cook, age 86 a native of Forkland, Alabama and a resident of Detroit, MI entered into eternal rest, November 25, 2014 in Detroit, MI. Mrs. Cook is the beloved mother of Kimberly Cook, Detroit, MI and Delbert Hall, Los Angeles, CA. She is also the beloved aunt of Mr. William Norwood, Demopolis, Alabama. Graveside services for Mrs. Velma Cook were held Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Byrd-Cobb Cemetery, Forkland, AL. Rev. Michael Barton, Pastor of Ebeneezer Baptist Church officiated. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors entrusted with all arrangements.
