Funeral services for Mr. Sylvester Essex were held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 12 noon at the Eastern Star Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Terry Gosa, pastor and officiating minister. Interment followed in Memorial Cemetery, Arcola Road, Demopolis, Alabama. The remains will repose at the church one hour prior to funeral service.
