Mr. Sey Banks, the son of the late Rev. c.J. and Thomie Banks all of Forkland, Alabama departed this life on Sunday, June 24, 2012 in Lithonia, Georgia. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 in Lithonia, Georgia with burial in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Survivors include a loving and very devoted wife, Martha Byrd Banks of Lithonia, Georgia; two children, Venora Banks Jones (Robert) of Lithonia, Georgia and Scy Banks (Marka) of Buffalo, New York; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; Six loving sisters, Nettye Andrews, Adora Morris, Bettye Lee, Daisy Britton, Minnie Belton, and Lula Cater. One brother, Cato Banks, Jr.A very devoted mother-in-law, Mary Anthony of Boligee, AL; six sisters-in-law, Almarine Banks, Carrie Byrd, Doris Byrd-Watts, Gladys Turner, Cora Smith and Tammy Anthony. Six brothers-in-law: Charles Floyd, Cedric Anthony (Boligee, AL), Edward Watts, Winford Andrews, Donald Lee and Robert Cater; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
