Funeral services for Ms. Sandra Spencer Howze were held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 12 noon at Bethel Pine Baptist Church Coatopa, Alabama; Rev. Floyd Bell pastor, Rev. Chris Spencer officiated. Interment followed in Zion Hill Cemetery, Coatopa, Alabama. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with all arrangements.

Sandra leaves to cherish her loving memories: her children, Derrick (Amanda) Howze, Gurnee, Illinois and Anyanna "Cookie" Howze, Montgomery, Alabama; one grandson, Derrin Christopher Howze of Gurnee, Illinois; her father, Alex Spencer, Jr. of Bellamy, Alabama; six sisters, Tommie Tolliver and Darla Spencer of Bellamy, Alabama, Meranda Deavers of Radcliff, Kentucky, Hattie Nelson and JoAnn Spencer of Southfield, Michigan and Betty Taylor of Detroit, Michigan; seven brothers, Robert and Jimmy Spencer of Bellamy, Alabama, Reverend Christopher (Tywannia) Spencer of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Charles (Martha) Spencer, Roderick (Lee Ann) Belle and Fred (Elizabeth) Harris of Detroit, Michigan and Michael Spencer of Southfield, Michigan; two aunts, Eunice Triggs of Livingston, Alabama and Bessie Shelton of Coatopa, Alabama; a very devoted friend, Jimmy Hodges of Livingston, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
