MRS. SALLIE D. HAMILTON, age 80 of 1549 County Road 7, Greensboro, Alabama passed May 19, 2009 at her residence surrounded by family. Homegoing Services Celebrating the life of Sis. Sallie D. Hamilton were held Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Mary A.M.E. Church, County Road 61, Greensboro, Alabama. Rev. Paul W. Sanders officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Family Cemetery, Greensboro, Alabama. She was born to the late Scott and Julia DeYampert. Those who will cherish her loving memories are her five sons, Joe Jr., Carnell, Claude, Terry and Michael. Five Daughters; Debra, Scottie, Dwana, Annie and Tonja; three daughters in law, Lavon, Gayle and Earline; four sons-in-law, Dendrick, Tom, Robert and Sylvester. One brother, George Taylor. 29 grandchildren, Lil Joe, Corey, Scott, Traymon, Ashley, Carla, Brandon, Kilo, Denzel, Denneal, Lil Earl, Shavon, Tyler, Miles, Chareka, Maurice, Mooney, Uribe, Kayla, Kevin, Jeremy, Robyn, Jonja, Robbie, Jordan, Brayden, JaMicah, Cameron and Carson. Eleven great-grandchildren, one god-daughter, Lizzie Bashknight. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. One very special and devoted cousin, Mary Sanders of Marion, Alabama.
