Mrs. Ruth Young Ross, age 87 of 414 East Field Street, Greenville, Alabama entered into eternal rest March 3, 2011 at her residence in Greenville. She is a graduate of U.S. Jones High School, Demopolis, Alabama, Tuskegee Institute, Tuskegee, Alabama and a Master's Degree from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. She is the beloved daughter of the late O'Connor E. Young, Jr., and Bessie L. Young of Demopolis, Alabamaa and the beloved wife of the late Jacob Ross. Memorial Services with Public viewing was held Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from at 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Graveside Services was held Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Memorial Cemetery, Arcola Road, Demopolis, Alabama. Words of Consolation provided by Rev. Ezekiel Simon, Pastor of the Morning Star Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama and Rev. Dennis McCants, Pastor of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Greenville, Alabama.
