MR. RUBEN SIMON, of County Road 57, Demopolis, Alabama, beloved husband of Mrs. Gertrude Simon entered into eternal rest Friday, April 4th, 2008 at his residence. Funeral Services were held Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall, Demopolis, Alabama. Interment followed in Scott Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include: a loving and devoted wife, Gertrude; three children Clark Gable of Cleveland, OH, Mitchell Maurice (Lorraine) of Columbus, OH, and Alicia Simone (Rodney) James of Demopolis, Alabama; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; three sisters Annie Pearl Gage and Georgia Simon both of Cleveland, OH and Bonita Chaney of Jefferson, Alabama; five brothers, Henry (Annie) Simon Jr. of Cleveland, OH, Lee (Virginia) Simon of Raleigh, N.C., Robert (Brenda) Lewis of Huntsville, Alabama, Mickey Lewis of Akron, OH, and David (Wanda) Chaney of Mobile, AL; two aunts Teresa Rembert Turner (Andrew) of Chicago, IL and Ophelia Simon Averette of Akron, OH and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; devoted friends, John Brown, Houston Worthy, Norman Patterson, Lee Lynch, and James Anderson.
