Mr. Robert Lee Samuel, age 71 of Pleasant Grove, AL entered into eternal rest January 16, 2015 at Legacy Health and Rehabilitation Center in Birmingham, AL. Funeral services for Mr. Robert L. Samuel were held Saturday January 24, 2015 at 1 p.m. at St Paul Baptist Church Demopolis, AL; Rev. DeAyrus Smith pastor and officiant. Interment followed in Mt Zion Cemetery, Hwy 80 West, Demopolis, Alabama. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with all arrangements.

He leaves to cherish his memories, four sons, Robert Lee Samuel, Jr., Chicago, Illinois, Darryl Dewayne Samuel, Silver Springs, Maryland, Anthony LaKeith Samuel, Madison, Alabama and Joseph C. (Margaret) Samuel, Champaign, Illinois; two sisters, Tommie Jean Samuel, Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Gwendolyn Samuels, Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Eugene Samuel, Demopolis, Alabama and Nathaniel Jackson, Canton, Ohio; two devoted granddaughters, Bria and Alycia Samuel; one uncle, Thomas C. Samuel; one sister-in-law, Ruby Samuel; eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
