Mr. Eddie T. Merriweather, age 79, the beloved husband of Mrs. Carrie Woods Merriweather of Forkland, Alabama, entered into eternal rest April 28, 2014 at DCH Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  Funeral services for Mr. Merriweather were held Saturday, May 3, 2014 12:00 Noon at Lloyd Chapel Baptist Church, Forkland, Alabama.  Rev. Clayborn May, officiated. Interment followed in the adjoining church cemetery.  Public viewing was held Friday, May 2, 2014 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.  Those left to cherish his precious memories include, a devoted wife, Carrie W. Merriweather, Forkland, AL; three sons, Tyrone Merriweather, Malcolm (Hattie) Merriweather and Jeremy (Tiffany) Merriweather, all of Forkland, AL; three daughters, Elnora (Cedrick) Kirkman of Tuscaloosa, AL, Alison (Melvin) Coleman of Bloomfield, MI, and Karron (Joe) Johnson of Forkland, AL; one brother, Will (Dorothy) Merriweather of Eutaw, AL; one sister, Luewilma Merriweather, Chicago, IL; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with all arrangements.
