Mrs. Mary Lou McCAlpine of Greensboro, Alabama passed August 12, 2009 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Springfield Baptist Church, Sawyverville, Alabama. Rev. Larry Williams ll officiant. Interment followed in Martin Cemetery, Meltin, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Blount McCCalpine. To this union were born six children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvia & Issac Harris, two sisters, three grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: six children; Annie Lee (Edward-deceased) Coleman, Birmingham, AL., Lovell ( Sarah) MCCalpine, Greensboro, AL, Ezell (Guster) McCalpine, Greensboro, AL, Abraham (Lucille) McCalpine, Greensboro, AL, Jerome (Gidget) McCalpine, McDonough, GA; Wanda (Lorenzo) Millerr, Tuscaloosa, AL; A devoted grandson, J.C. (Sylvia) McCalpine, Greensboro, AL; 40 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren, 65 great, great grandchildren; devoted friend, Julia McCalpine, Greensboro, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
