Mrs. Mamie Larkin of Bellamy, Alabama, beloved wife of the late Mr. Mason Larkin Jr., passed Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital of Demopolis, Alabama. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Taber Baptist Church of Coatopa, Alabama. Rev. Albert Murdock Jr. is the pastor and officiated. Interment followed in adjoining cemetery. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include three loving children Mason (Johanna)Larkin III of Plainfield,New Jersey, Linda (Charlie) Thomas of Livingston,Alabama, and Terry (Linda) Larkin of Lithonia, Georgia; three sisters Bertha McCrear, Leatha Jones, and Rosie (Kennis) Kelly of Birmingham, Alabama; two brothers Rev. Willie (Kay) Rice of Coatopa, AL and Joe L. Rice of St. Louis, MO; three brothers in law Marvin Larkin of York, AL, Joe (Vinnie) Wilson and Johnny ( Eloise) Wilson both of Birmingham, AL; two aunts Harriet Seales and Melon Taylor both of Coatopa, AL; five grandchildren Gregory Larkin, Chandra Thomas, Shawn Thomas, Donavan Thomas, and Kimberly Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
