Mrs. Maggie Chaney of Jefferson, Alabama entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Bryan Whitfield Hospital, Demopolis, Alabama. Funeral Services were held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 12 noon at the Small Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, Jefferson, Alabama. Rev. Edmond Charleston officiated. Interment followed in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson, Alabama Mrs. Maggie leaves to cherish her memories, Nine Grandchildren, Ernest (Sophia) Aldridge, Anthony (Willie B) Chaney, Michael Linder, Sandra Linder, Kimberly (Maurice) Carr, Shelia (Derrick) Smith, Melvin Howard, Valerie Howard, Gregory Linder, and A Stepmother Lillie Bell Aldridge. Three loving in devoted sisters, Dorothy (Thomas Vince) Scott, Annie (Travis) Williams, Rosie Aldridge. Five brothers, Joe Aldridge Jr., Oliver Aldridge, Rev. Jonnie (Laquitta) Aldridge, Willie (Eva) Aldridge, Thomas Aldridge. A host of neices, nephew, cousin and friends.. The remains was repose at the church on Saturday beginning at 11:00 A.M. Public viewing will be held Friday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements.
