Mrs. Lueissa Witherspoon, age 96 of Myrtlewood, Alabama (Linden, Alabama) passed September 22, 2010 at Hale County Hospital, Greensboro, Alabama. Funeral Services were held Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Greensboro, Alabama. Rev. Johnny Doss officiated. Interment followed in Myrtlewood Memorial Gardens, Myrtlewood, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: one devoted niece Mary Rogers; one devoted nephew John C. Rogers of Linden, AL; one sister in law Magalene Witherspoon; one cousin Sid Witherspoon of Pennington, AL; a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
