Lester Allen, Jr.,age 72, better known to family and friends as "Les," the beloved husband of Barbara Henderson Allen, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at DCH Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, AL. Funeral services for Mr. Les Allen were held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Small Memorial AME Zion Church, Jefferson, Alabama. Minister Linda Hollinger, pastor, Rev. Lester A. Allen. III. Officiating Minister. Interment followed in Millers Chapel Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama. Public viewing was held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at the funeral home chapel from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with all arrangements.
