Funeral Services were held Sunday, March 30, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bethel Pine Baptist Church, Coatopa, Alabama. Rev. Floyd Bell officiated. Interment followed in House Cemetery, Coatopa, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Mr. Leslie Coats leaves to cherish his precious memories: three nephews Charles Chaney of Cleveland, Ohio, Andrew Coats of Chicago, Illinois, and Glen (Julia) Coats of Smith, Alabamaa; two nieces Sis. Lora Coats Willlingham of Smith, Alabama and Sis. Barbara (Issac) Ward of Coatopa, Alabama; four great nieces Latasha and Sharada Coats of Chicago, IL, Myia (Lester) Stevens of Laurenceville, Georgia and Charity Coats, Smith, Alabama; six great nephews Dexter Ingram, US Army Afghanistan, Jermaine Ingram of Huntsville, Alabama, Johnathan Ingram, Tommmie Ingram, and Glen Coats Jr., all of Smith, Alabama and Rashard Ward of Coatopa, Alabama and a host of other relatives and Christian friends.
