Funeral Services were held Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Christian Chapel Baptist Church Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Fred Moore officiated. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Interment followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Jefferson Road, Demopolis, Alabama. Mr. Leon Peters leaves to cherish his precious memories: three sisters Catherine Gracie of Demopolis, Alabama, Rebecca J. Smith of Birmingham, Alabama, and Roberta Hildreth of Elyria, Ohio; one brother Frank Peters of Monticella, New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and devoted friends, Helen Kelly, Maeola Williams, and Mona Grayer all of Demopolis, Alabama.
