Mr. Kenneth Lee Scott, age 56 of Demopolis, Alabama, 508 East Jefferson Street, Demopolis, Alabama entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church, Old Springhill Road, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. DeAyrus Smith is pastor. Rev. Fred D. Moore, Pastor of Christian Chapel Baptist Church, Demopolis, AL officiated. Interment followed in the Scott's Family Memorial Cemetery, Jefferson, Alabama. Kenneth is the beloved son of Mrs. Dorothy Scott Foreman and the late Mr. Thomas L. Scott, former owner of Larkin & Scott Funeral Home, Demopolis, Alabama. "Kenny" leaves to cherish his precious memories: a loving and devoted mother Dorothy Scott-Foreman of Demopolis, AL; three daughters Monica R. Scott and Kya Scott of Demopolis, AL, and Kenya (Jerome) Tarver of Georgia; one grandson Charlie "Brick" Howell Jr. of Linden, AL; two brothers Thomas Vince Scott and Dr. Christopher C. (Johnnie) Scott of Demopolis, AL; one aunt Mary (John) Bruce of Panama City, Florida; five uncles Elliot Scott of Jefferson, AL, Clarence Mosley of Bronx, N.Y., Robert Jackson Jr. of Portsmouth, VA, Hubert Robinson Sr. of Syracuse, N.Y. and Willis B. Scott of Jefferson, AL; one godsister Wendy Harris of Tuscaloosa, Al; one devoted cousin John "Baby John" Scott of Houston, TX; two devoted friends Rev. Curtis (Anita) Rembert and Ulysses (Martha) Burrell both of Demopolis, AL; one close friend Willie Mae Taylor of Demopolis, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews,cousins, other relatives, and friends and the staff and management of Larkin and Scott Funeral Home.
