Mr. Junior Ed Foster, age 63 of 205 East Monroe Street, Demopolis, Alabama passed February 19, 2008 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral
Services were held Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Christian Chapel Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Fred D. Moore officiated. Interment with military honors followed at Memorial Cemetery, Arcola Road, Demopolis, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. He was born to the late Vember &Ardelia "Sister" Mitchell. Grandson of the late Mr. & Mrs. Dennis & Lula Mitchell. One uncle along with his parents, Fred Mitchell and one daughter, Latasha Denise Hill preceded him in death. He joined the United States Army and served in Vietnam. Afterward, he served in the U.S. Army Reserve, relocated to Detroit, Michigan and was employed by Chrysler Corporation. Foster confessed Christ at an early age. He leaves to cherish his memories his children, a loving and devoted daughter, Mary Ann Hill of Demopolis, AL, Artisha (Rev. Jerrell) Moore of Birmingham, AL, Vember Collins of Forkland, AL; two stepchildren he reared, Abbie Collins Mays of Detroit, MI and John Collins of Forkland, Alabama; nine grandchildren; one brother, Johnny (Ethelrine) Coleman of Forkland, AL; one uncle, James Mitchell of Demopolis, AL; one aunt-in-law, Alberta Mitchell; a devoted friend, David (Ann) Ash, Demopolis, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
