Ms. Joyce James, age 57 of Demopolis, Alabama entered into eternal rest November 7, 2011 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital, Demopolis, Alabama. Funeral Services were held Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 12 noon at Christian Chapel Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Fred D. Moore officiated. Rev. Mitchell Congress, Master Of Order. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama. Interment followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the New Morning Star Baptist Church, Demopoliis, Alabama. She was born to the late Meg and Josephine James who preceded her in death. Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, four children, Nicole James (Derron), Tracy James, Maurice (Shamika) James, Meg (Georgette) James, all of Demopolis, AL; seven grandchildren, KeAsia, Damarcus, Jasmine, Zavione, Khaliyah, Khya, and Mason; four sisters, Joy James, Priscilla James, Mary James and Josephine James, all of Demopolis, AL; six aunts, LeAnna James, Tusaloosa, AL, Ludell Phillips & Lena James, Demopolis, AL., Priscilla Williams and Ruth Jones of Atlanta, GA and Debra Jones, Montgomery, AL; four uncles, Will James, Demopolis, AL, Peter James, Birmingham, AL, Sam Jones, Livingston, AL and Robert Jones, Detroit, MI; a host of nieces, nephe2ws, cousins, other relatives and friends.
