Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Brown of Demopolis, Alabama were held Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 11 A.M. at the Morning Star Baptist Church, 614 East Jackson Street, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. James L. Dunn is the pastor. Bishop Earnest L. Palmer officiated. Interment followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Highway 43 South, Demopolis, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Mrs. Josephine Brown made her transition on June 9, 2007 at the Henry County Medical Center, Stockbridge, Georgia. She leaves to cherish her precious memeories: ten children, Dorothy (John) Woods, Selton M. Brown, Abram A. Brown Jr., Matthew L. Brown, Tarlee (Grace) Brown, Johnny M. Brown, Hester M. Brown, Threet (Ira Jean) Brown, Rhonda M. Brown, and Winston (Aretha) Muhammad; One brother Leven (Florence) Croom; 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephws, family, and friends.
