Mr. John Edward Skinner of Montgomery, Alabama, a former native of Linden, Alabama, and the beloved husband of Mrs. Doris Merriweather Skinner of Montgomery, Alabama entered into eternal rest March 15, 2013 at Baptist South Medical Center, Montgomery, Alabama. Graveside Memorial Services were held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Scott Memorial Cemetery, Jefferson, Alabama. Presiding Elder Pastor Ronald V. Butler will officiate. Interment will follow in Scott Memorial Cemetery, Jefferson, Alabama. He leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving and devoted wife, Doris Merriweather Skinner of Montgomery, AL; one daughter, April Johnson of Killean, TX; two sons, Marlon skinner of Springfield, VA., and Ryan Richardson of Linden, AL; three sisters, Mary Wright of Dover, Delaware; Austria Vickers of Long Beach, CA., and Rosie Miller of Demopolis, AL; two brothers, Norman Skinner of Long Beach, CA., and Frankie White of Charlotte, N.C; one devoted son-in-law, Shannon Johnson of Afghisthan; two uncles, five aunts, four grandchildren, five sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
