Funeral services for Mr. James H. Threatt Sr. were held Saturday July 17, 2010 at 2p.m. at the Little Zion Baptist Church of Faunsdale, Alabama. Rev W. J. Morton, pastor and officated. Interment followed in the Owens Cemetery of Faunsdale, Alabama. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with all arrangements. Mr. James H. Threatt Sr. entered into eternal rest July 7, 2010. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife Willie Threatt; four children James Threatt Jr., Frederick (Rasheeda) Threattt, Anthonio Threatt all of Faunsdale, AL and Kelvin Threatt of Fort Wayne, IN; a loving and devoted mother Margaret Threatt of Fort Wayne,IN; two brothers Johnny Threatt of Stone Mountain, GA and Jimmy Threatt of Pell City, AL; six sisters Della M. Turner of Pell City, AL, Juanita (Walter) Johnson of Ft. Wayne, IN, Eliza (Julius) Smith of Faunsdale, AL, Lois Threatt, Mary Threatt of South Fallburg, NY, and Gwen (Charles) Boykin of Atlanta, GA; four aunts Willie Lee (David) Turner of Faunsdale, AL, Gladys Threatt of Griffin, GA, Mary Threatt and Jean Threatt both of Pell City, AL; six sisters in law Maple Hunter and Bessie Thomas of Faunsdale, AL, Rachel Ward, Dorothy Threatt, and Annie Threatt all of Uniontown,AL, and Mattie Washington of Ft Wayne, IN; Three brothers in law Earnest (Peggy) Coleman of Faunsdale, AL, Willie Roy( Mary) Coleman of Marion, AL and Edmond (Bessie) Coleman of Mobile, AL; eleven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
