Mr. James Eaton, of 1804 Eaton Drive, Demopolis, Alabama, age 75 of Demopolis, Alabama passed December 24, 2007 at his residence. Funeral Services were held Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Old Springhill Road, Demopolis, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. James was born to the parentage of the late James Eaton, Sr. and Amelia Williams Eaton who preceded him in death. He was united in holy matrimony to Elixa Poole Eaton on December 18, 1939 and she preceded him in death on April 9, 2003. Two sisters, Dorothy Lewis and Sophia Morris along with a stepson, Robert Poole preceded him in death. Survivors include two loving children, Debra Lynette Eaton of Demopolis, AL and James Eaton III of Detroit, MI; one stepson, Andrew Poole of Demopolis, AL; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two siblings, Sidney (Susie) Eaton of Demopolis, AL & Louise Maiden of Huntsville, AL; one uncle, Deacon Eddie Carter of Demopolis, AL; two aunts, Gertrude Carter and Lucy Moore of Demopolis, AL: a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
