Mr. James Evans, Jr. age 68 of 16161 Alabama Highway 69, Greensboro, Alabama, the beloved husband of Mrs. Violet Evans of Greensboro entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the Hale County Hospital, Greensboro, Alabama. Memorial Services were held Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall, Greensboro, Alabama. The remains were cremated by Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors after the funeral service on Saturday. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Mr. Evans leaves to cherish his precious memories; his wife Violet Evans of Greensboro, AL; his children Connie Jean Walker of Long Island, N.Y.; Maxine McCollough, Brandywine, MD, Tammy Anderson of Tuscaloosa, Al, Barbara Evans of Bronx, N.Y, Jamie Evans of Upstate, N.Y., Jennifer Evans of Yonkers, N.Y., Lisa Evans and Patricia Evans both of North Carolina, Jamal Evans of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Jermaine Evans and Jackie Evans both of Staten Island, N.Y; twenty one grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
