Funeral services for Deacon Horace Gray Jr., age 79 of Forkland, Alabama were held Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Forkland, Alabama. Rev. William Branch officiated. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery with Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. He entered into eternal rest January 31, 2007 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital, Demopolis, Alabama. He leaves to cherish his precous memories, five children; Anner Gray & Sherry (Curtis) Wright of Forkland, AL., Terry Gray of Atlanta, GA, and Johnethia Gray of Wetumpka, AL & Vikki McDaniels of Tishabee, AL; eleven grandchildren, one whom he reared, Latra; four brothers, Abraham (Ida) Hall of Dallas, TX., James Washington of Detroit, MI., Joseph Gray of Knoxville, TN and Hextor Cameron of Kentucky; one aunt, two uncles; a devoted friend, Yvonne Belton of Forkland, AL; devoted cousin, Dorothy (Edward) Wallace; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
