Mrs. Henrietta Merriweather, age 91 of Highway 28 South, Jefferson, Alabama entered into eternal rest October 31, 2010 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral Services were held Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the First Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Jefferson, Alabama. Rev. Edmond Charleston, Pastor. Interment followed in Scott Memorial Cemetery, Jefferson, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Daughter of the late Rice Davis and Rosie Brock. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Small Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, Jefferson, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Merriweather, children Jerome Merriweather, James Merriweather, Rosie Moorer and Carrie Wilson and one sister, Annie Bell Collier. She leaves to cherish her precious emories her loving children, Wallstone Merriweather of Lakewood, S.C., Thomas Merriweather of Charleston, S.C., Joseph Merriweather, Tarbon N.C., Bessie (Wade) Brooks, Hempstead, N.C., Jerry (Mary) Merriweather, Columbus, S.C., Doris (John) Skinner, Montgomery, AL, Gloria Merrieather, Jefferson, AL and Henrietta Merriweather of Tuscaloosa, AL; one sister, Margaret Edwaards of Demopolis, AL; one aunt, Mary Brock of Demopolis, AL; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
