Mrs. Hattie Purse Hinton, age 83 of Demopolis, Alabama passed March 15, 2007 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Honoree Lockett will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include six loving children, Mary Pruitt, Willia Tate, Ada Ball of Demopolis, AL, Geneva (Willie) Jackson of Los Angeles, CA, James Scott of Roswell, GA & Waymon (Delores) Scott of Tuscaloosa, AL; devoted stepson, Theolis (Liz) Hinton of Chicago, IL; step-daughter, Kim (Calvin) Skipper, Greensboro, AL; siblings, Mary Sams & Inez Branch of Demopolis, AL & Rev. James (Clara) Purse of Demopolis, AL; 26 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
