Mr. Gus Kirk of Gallion, AL entered into eternal rest recently at the Colonial Haven Nursing Home, Greensboro, Alabama. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 2nd at 12 noon at the Moscow Baptist Church Demopolis. Rev. Timothy Paige pastor, Minister Keller, Linden, AL; four children he loved and cared for as his own, Jessie Mae(Eric) Edwards; Demopolis,AL, David Edwards, Selma AL, Minister Spencer (Lisa) Edwards, Demopolis, AL and Vincent Edwards, Selma, AL ; three loving sisters, Mary (Cato) Banks, Ella Mae(Antonio) Kelly, both of Demopolis, AL and Mary Kirk, North Carolina; three brothers, Henry Kirk, Selma, AL, Earnest(Martha)Kirk, Demopolis, AL and Robert Kirk, Mobile, AL ; one aunt, Ms. Hannah White, Linden AL; Five sisters-in-law, Loree Varner, Demopolis , AL, Nellie Edwards, Linden AL, Carolyn Calhoun, Sylvia Richardson and Gertrude Hogan, all of Gallion, AL; six brothers-in-law, Pross Edwards, Linden, AL, Warren Witherspoon, Birmingham, AL ,Andrew Landers, Frank Witherspoon, Phillip Hogan, all of Gallion, AL and Jimmie Varner of Linden AL; twelve grandchildren, one grandson whom he loved dearly, Jeremy Ford, Demopolis, AL; twelve nieces, one very special niece Mary (Liz) Hayward, Demopolis, AL ten nephews, fifteen great nieces, ten great nephews; a host of other relatives and friends, one special friend Dura Wheeler, Jefferson, AL
