Funeral Services were held Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 12 noon at St. Paul Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Fred Moore officiated. Interment followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with funeral arrangements. Mrs. Gertrude Willis Carter leaves to cherish her precious memories: one daughter Dr. Bernice Richardson (Robert) of Huntsville, AL, four sons Steve (Florence) of Denver, Colorado, Richard (Ernestine) of Huntsville, AL, Norman (Betty) of Cleveland, OH and Robert (Angernette) of Selma, AL; one sister in law Lucy Moore of Demopolis, AL; one brother in law James Carter of Gary, Indiana; 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and ahost of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
