Mr. George Hill, Jr., age 73 of Faunsdale, Alabama passed July 26, 2011 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital, Demopolis, Alabama. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 1 p.m at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Allenville, Alabama. Rev. James R. Murdock will officiate. Interment will follow in Allenville Cemetery, Faunsdale, Alabama. The remains will repose at the church on Saturday, August 6, 2-11 at 12 noon. Public viewing will be held Friday, August 5, 2011 from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Mr. Hill leaves to cherish his precious memories: Eddie Lee (Larry) Gilbert of Birmingham, AL, Jake Hill of Coatopa, AL, Samuel (Jerlyn) Hill of Coatopa, AL, JoeAnn (Kyser) Jefferson of Birmingham, AL, Simon (Gina) Hill III of North Chicago, IL, and Miquitta Hill-McCree of Birmingham, AL; brothers and sisters in law Charles (Arnetta) Brown, Corine Whitmon, John (Patricia) Brown, Lana Jean (Tony) Cooper and Yardell Brown; twenty grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, son in law James W. Gilbert and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
