Mr. George Hilgenberg entered into eternal rest  peacefully February 19, 2025 at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation York, Alabama.

Born in New York, he was the son of the late Margret Hilgenberg and his late father. George was a proud graduate of Pace College in New York City. Following his education, he honorably served his country in the military during the post-Korean War period.

George was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Carol. He is survived by his loving siblings: Laurie, Meg, Merri, and Gerry.

A man who served both his country and community, George's memory will live on through those who knew and loved him.
