Funeral services for Mr. Franklin D. R. Jones Sr. were held Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 12 noon at the First Baptist Church of Uniontown, Alabama. REv. Anthony Trimble is the pastor. REv. Moses Jones Jr. officiated. Interment followed in Jones Cemetery, Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with all arrangements. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: two sons Franklin (Pamela) Jones Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN; Christopher (Shelly) Jones of Indianapolis, IN; one daughter Crystal Jones of Fort Wayne, IN; six grandchildren; brothers and sisters Iola Odgen, Auburn, IN, Alonzo of Fort Wayne, IN, Benjamin of Pensacola, FL, Walter &Percy of Uniontown, AL, Polly Foulks of Glendale, AZ, and Lonia (Lloyd) Curry of Louisville, KY; two brothers in law Henry Perry Jr. and Johnson Terrell; sisters in law Pearlie JOnes, Leola Jones, and Mary Juinell Perry and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
