Mrs. Fannie Head-Fields, age 86 of 361 Head Drive, a long time native of the Boligee, Alabama (Tishabee Community) entered into eternal rest February 9, 2012 at the Greeene County Hospital, Eutaw, Alabama. Funeral Services & Homegoing Celebration were held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 1 P.M. at the Little Zion Baptist Church, Boligee, Alabama. The remains will lie in state prior to the services at church she dedicated her life to God at Christian Valley Baptist Church on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:45 A.M. until 12:00 Noon at the Christian Valley Baptist Church, Boligee, Alabama which is undergoing construction. Services of Memory will be held at the Little Zion Baptist Church, Boligee, Alabama. Rev. Tracy Gilesll officiated. Interment followed in Taylor Place Cemetery, Boligee, Alabama. One of God's most beautiful angels, also known as Momma, Auntie, Godmother, Sister and Friend was born to the late Moses Davis and Eliza Jackson. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Christian Valley Baptist Church under the pastorage of the late Rev. Charlie Jennings. After marriage to her first husband, Mr. John Head she united with the St. Matthew Baptist Church, Tishabee Community (Boligee, Alabama). She served faithfully as a faithful member and choir member. Fannie was educated at James Wood School. Fannie was preceded in death by her husbands, the late John H. Head and William Fields. She is survived by three daughters she raised, Eleanor Head of Tishabee, Alabama, Julia Turnipseed of Houston, Texas and Martha L. Head of Hampton, Georgia; three very devoted sisters, Mary L. Watson of Tishabee, AL., Zelma Charles of Ypsilanti, MI., and Eula Lanier of Birmingham, AL; two brothers, Argusta (Pagaratta) Davis and Rev. Fred (Verlois) Davis, both of Ypsilanti, MI; one sister-in-law, Ruby Jackson of Birmingham, AL; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and numerous friends.
