Funeral services were held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Small Memorial AME Zion Church, Jefferson, AL with full military honors. Minister Linda Hollinger pastor. Rev. Edward Seabron, Pastor of Berry's Chapel AME Zion Church, Jackson, Alabama officiated. Interment will follow on Monday, January 6, 2014 in the Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL . Public viewing was held Friday, January 3, 2014 from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
