Mrs. Edna D. Ellis, better known to family and friends as "Doretha," age 39 of Demopolis, Alabama, the beloved wife of Markuitta Ellis, entered into eternal rest November 8, 2013 at the Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital Demopolis, AL. Funeral services for Mrs. Ellis were held Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Pine Baptist Church, Coatopa, AL. Rev. Floyd Bell, Pastor. Rev. Johnnie Aldridge officiated. Interment followed in Bethel Cemetery, Coatopa, AL. Survivors include a loving and devoted husband, Markuitta Ellis; three daughters, Tamara, Marqueasha and Praiseous, all of Demopolis, AL; one Goddaughter, Tamyiah Young; mother, Fannie B. (Ruben) Parker, Demopolis, AL; eight sisters, Shannon Moore, Tuscaloosa, AL, Tameshia (Kenny) Gainesville, AL, Cheri Moore, Canton, OH, Princess Angela (Prince Abdulmalik) Afegabua, Lahger, Nigera Africa, Willie M.
