Funeral Services Celebrating The Life Of Mrs. Deressa Johnson were held Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the First Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Jefferson, Alabama. Rev. Edmond Charleston, Pastor and officiating minister. Interment followed in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson, Alabama. Deressa leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving children, two daughters, Shirley Johnson and Jacqueline Johnson and one son Clifford Johnson, all of Demopolis, AL; mother, Marquerite Steward; eight sisters, Ola Mae (Robert) Nelson, Chicago, IL, Albertine (Mark) Perry, Justine (Curtis) Collins, Vickie (Orie) Benjamin, Linda Steward, Nancy Steward, Shirley Steward, and Teressa Steward, all of San Bernadino, CA; three brothers, David (Joan) Steward of TN, Gregory (Eunice) Steward and Jeffery (Trina) Steward, both of SC; nine grandchildren, Veronica Johnson of Columbus, GA, Mikeal Johnson of Tuscaloosa, AL, Kentrell Johnson, Shawntae Johnson, Tracy Johnson, Jammie Johnson, Angel Johnson, Jamarcus Johnson and Omar Johnson, all of Demopolis, AL, Patience Johnson of Columbus, GA and Quinzarious Johnson of Demopolis, AL; a devoted aunt, Mattie Wade, Demopolis, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other sisters and brothers, other relatives and friends.
