Mr. David Blevins, age 61 of Bellamy, Alabama, formerly of the Whitfield Community, York, Alabama passed November 2, 2007 at his residence. Funeral Services were held Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Morning Star Baptist Church, Bellamy, Alabama. Rev. Marcus Lawrence officiated. Interment followed in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Whitfield, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Born to the parentage of the late Earlean Bibines & Cliff Wylie. Attended Bellamy Jr. High School and Sumter County Training School. Joined Ebenezer Baptist Church at an early age. Survivors include wife, Geneva Bivines; two children, Geneva Bivines and Curtis Bivines; very special friend, Eliza Jenkins; siblings, Diane (Willie) Jackson, Pearl Thomas, Ida Trier, Jacquelyn Brantley, Glenise Moore; god mother, Leola Stallings of Bellamy, AL; other godmothers, Pearl Johnson, Charlotte (Norman) Ruffin, Willie Ann Lake, Ruby Moss; A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
