Deacon Dave Fluker, Jr., age 79 of Demopolis, Alabama passed February 25, 2008 at the residence of his beloved sister, Mrs. Malissa Fluker. Funeral Services were held Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Moscow Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Timothy Page officiated. Deacon Jesse Wheeler, Master of Order. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. He was born to the parentage of the late Dave Fluker,Sr. and Carrie Killings-Fluker. Confessed Christ and joined Moscow Baptist Church. Employed by Gulf States Paper Corporation. United in holy matrimony to Elnora Dixon-Fluker who preceded him in death. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister, Clemiet T. Jones and brother, Eddie Fluker. Survivors include five children, Jesse (Charlotte) Fluker and Ronnie Fluker of Cleveland, OH, Tommy (Patricia) Paige, Jackie Saulsberry of Birmingham, AL and Patricia Williams of Mobile, AL; 15 grandchildren; two loving sisters, Malissa Fluker of Demopolis, AL and Thelma Hurst of Detroit, MI; one uncle, Henry Fluker of Demopolis, AL; one aunt, Fronnie Williams of California; one brother-in-law, Thomas Chaney of Cleveland, OH; one sister, Ludella Cook of Chicago, IL; special friend, Alice Brown of Demopolis, AL. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
