Darryl LeDuff Matthews, age 48 of Lansing, Michigan, the beloved son of Jeanetta LeDuff Mitchell of Linden, AL entered into eternal rest November 2, 2013 at his home.
Funeral services were held Saturday November 9,2013 at 1 pm at the Chalk Level AME Zion Church Highway 69 South of Myrtlewood,AL Reverend Charles Catrell pastor and officiating Minister. Interment followed in the Sand Hill Cemetery.Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors entrusted with arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Michelle Boyer Matthews; daughters, Martisha Howard, Dara and Miah Matthews; son, Jordan Matthews; two grandchildren, Sanchez Carter and Reuben Hunter, Jr.; devoted mother, Jeanetta LeDuff Mitchell; three brothers, Marvin Glover, Warren and Shawn LeDuff; three sisters, Phyllis Davis, Mary (Kelvin) Alvis and Loraine LeDuff; Godsister, Joyce Mitchell; devoted nephew, TarShawn LeDuff; mother-in-law, Gloria Holt; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
