Clinton Worthy were held Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 1 p.m. at The First Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Jefferson, AL; Rev. Edmund Charleston , pastor and officiant. Interment followed in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson, AL. Survivors include a devoted wife, Jennifer Worthy; two sons, Clinton and Jaylon Worthy, both of Demopolis, Alabama; four brothers, Woodrow (Marie) Worthy of Akron, OH, Walter (Rosiland) Worthy and Timothy Worthy, both of Demopolis, AL and Irvin Levin (Valaria) Kelly of Winston-Salem, NC; four sisters, Jewel Thurman and Wilma Worthy, both of Tuscaloosa, AL, Lucille Worthy and Glenda (Thomas) Miller, both of Akron, OH; one uncle, Walter C. Worthy of Akron, OH; mother-in-law, Valtina Robertson and father-in-law, Nathan McGrew, both of Demopolis, AL; five brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
