Mr. Charles Spillers, of 184 Falcoln Drive, Dixons Mills, Alabama passed July 2, 2008 at the V.A. Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama. Funeral Services were held Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rock Babylon Baptist Church, Dixons Mills, Alabama. Rev. Norris Pauley is the pastor. Rev. John Watkins officiated. Interment with military honors followed in Polly Robinson Cemetery, Dixons Mills, Alabama. The remains will repose at the church on Saturday beginning at 12:00 NOON. He leaves to mourn his wife, Gwendolyn Spillers of nearly 38 years, and four children, Cassandra Spillers of Hawaii, David (Bernice) Spillers of Salt Lake City,Utah TaTanisha Spillers of Lawrenceville, GA, and Shareece Spillers of Dixons Mills, Alabama; five sisters Ethel Matthews of Los Angeles, CA, Annabell Spillers of Los Angeles, CA; Clara (Eddie) Sullivan of Long Beach,CA, Gloria Spillers of Los Angeles, CA, Josephine Spillers of Los Angeles, California, and Sherwin Spillers of Jonesville, Lousiana; Sister in laws Manuella (Dwight) Evan of Lawrenceville, GA and Susan Gary of Montgomery, AL; Brother in law Emmanuel (Carol) Gary of Dixon Mills, Alabama; Six grandchildren Amber, Joshua, Dante, Keseana, Mario, and Kenisha Spillers and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
