Ms. Catherine Ayers, age 84 of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Gallion, Alabama passed October 27, 2009 at South Shore Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the Gilfield Missonary Baptist Church, Old Sspringhill, Alabama. Rev. Moses C. Jones, Sr. Pastor. Rev. Douglas Harris will officiate. Interment will follow in the Ayers Family Cemetery, Highway 69, Gallion, Alabama. The remains will repose at the church on Saturday, November 7th at 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon. Public viewing will be held Friday, November 6, 2009 from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
