Funeral services for Carolyn Marie Sturdivant were held Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Sumter County High School of York, Alabama. Minister Johnny McDonald, officated. Interment followed at the Mt. Herman Cemetery, Millville, Alabama. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Ms. Carolyn Marie Sturdivant entered into eternal rest April 27, 2010. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her mother Leola Sturdivant; four sons Quentin (Rhonda) Sturdivant of Virginia Beach, VA, Jason (April)Sturdivant of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Terrence Sturdivant of York, Alabama and Jamie Sturdivant of Chattanooga, TN; one sister Magnolia Larkin of York, Alabama; two brothers Irvin (Debra) Sturdivant of York, Alabama and Terry Mitchell of Port Huron, Michigan; step mother Ernestine Sturdivant ; two aunts Gracie (Willie) Barnes of York, AL and Julia (J.D) Everett of Shubata, MS; two uncles Walter (Jessie Mae) Sturdivant of Birmingham, AL and Floyd (Mary) Sturdivant of Peoria, IL; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives, and friends
