Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly Banks Nora, age 55 the beloved daughter of Mrs. Catherine Banks of Forkland, Alabama were held Sunday, July 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Birdine AME Zion Church, Forkland, Alabama. Rev. Stanley Hickey officiated. Interment followed in the adjorning cemetery. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Mrs. Beverly Banks Nora entered into eternal rest, Monday, June 25, 2007 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving mother Catherine Y. Banks; her husband William Nora; three children Travis, Catherine,and Monica; two grandchildren Zuriel and Zamaury; Six siblings John (Selena) Banks, Rhonda (George) Broadnax, Bernard (Crystal)Banks, Iola Fentress, Alvin Banks, and Terra (Joe) Thomas; one stepdaughter Markeitta Nora; a woman who loved her as a daughter, Mary Owens and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
