Mr. Bennie Austin, age unavailable of Forkland, Alabama passed May 8, 2008 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital, Demopolis, Alabama. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the First United Baptist Church, Forkland, Alabama. Rev. Joe Webb will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The remains will repose at the church on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 Noon. Public viewing will be held Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements. Mr. Bennie Austin leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving and devoted wife Fannie Austin of Forkland, Alabama; one sister Ella Owens of Birmingham,Alabama; one brother Enner Austin of Ohio; two daughters Josephine (Joe) James of Forkland, Alabama and Louise (Jim) Griffin of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; two sisters-in-laws Virginia Williams and Louise Williams both of Forkland, Alabama; 20 grandchildren; 21 great grands and 9 great great grands and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
